Yesterday evening DI-RECT received a Golden Award for their album This Is Who We Are. The Award was given to the band by record company EMI Music during the recording of Vrienden Van Amstel Live in Rotterdam.The Hague Music City results in record deal DI-RECT in Germany!

DI-RECT’s showcase as part of The Hague Music City at the Reeperbahn Festival in Hamburg last September has resulted in a signed record deal for the band in Germany! DI-RECT signed with Robot Robot Records, its CEO Henk Hakker is well-known from his successes with Nickelback, Slipknot, Lenny Kravitz & Sepultura. The first single release is planned for the beginning of 2013 to be followed by an album release in the spring of this year.

The 11th of April DI-RECT ended their theatre tour with a live show at Carré! After more than 40 shows, it was a true honor for the band to finalize a successful tour in a legendary location like this.
